Refund policy
At Chasing My Paradise, we are a small, independent business crafting and offering unique products. Every order is packed with care by us personally, so we truly appreciate your support and understanding.
To help us minimize unnecessary returns, we kindly ask that you carefully review product descriptions, photos, and sizing guides before placing your order.
1. STANDARD RETURNS (14-DAY RIGHT TO CANCEL)
Under UK consumer regulations, you have 14 calendar days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unworn, unused, in its original condition, and with all tags attached.
- The item must be in its original packaging.
- You must provide proof of purchase (order number or email confirmation).
Please note: As a small business, we do not offer free returns. You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning items. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
2. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS (EXCEPTIONS)
Certain types of items cannot be returned due to their nature:
- Custom or Personalised Goods: Handmade items made to order (including custom dreamcatchers or tailored goods) cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or defective.
- On-sale / Gift cards: Items purchased on final sale or gift cards are non-refundable.
3. HOW TO START A RETURN
To initiate a return, please contact us first at info@chasingmyparadise.com with your order number and reason for return.
Items sent back to us without requesting a return first will not be accepted or refunded.
4. DAMAGES AND ISSUES
We inspect all items thoroughly before dispatch. However, if your item arrives damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong item, please contact us immediately at info@chasingmyparadise.com within 48 hours of delivery so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
5. REFUNDS
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded via your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.
